THE WING SAFARI –OF AFRICA SPICE EXPEDITIONS.
16 DAYS

This is perhaps the most popular safari we offer. The African Spice Expeditions is a magnificent journey through Kenya and Tanzania.

Luxuriously long days in each Game park , enough time to rich wildlife viering sessions and several flights to expindite travel from one park to another-from  big mountains like Mt. Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro to the wildlife wonderlands of the Maasai Mara and Ngorongoro crater.

-Magnificent scenery and shining wildlife and a breathtaking adventure.

16 days Departs Saturday, Returns Sunday.

DAY 1-USA-EUROPE:-It begins as you enplane for Europe, connecting to your Nairobi flight.

DAY 2. EUROPE-AFRICA:-Awaiting African Spice expeditions and Travel staff take you to the historic Norfork Hotel.

DAY 3. NAIROBI:-Our team will do a Safari briefing –answers and questions

-This is followed by a visit to the National Museum and the former home of Karen Blixen who opened Out of Africa, then to Giraffe centre. Here you can hand feed Rothschild giraffes.
-This evening we go for Dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant.

DAY 4-DAY 5  AMBOSELI:-This day we fly to Amboseli National Park which is famous for tranquil beauty and wildlife. We can view Mt. Kilimanjaro.
-We do early morning and late afternoon game drives.
-We stay at one of the luxurious lodges either Serena or Ol tukai

DAY 7-DAY 8-NGORONGORO CRATER.
 

-We drive to Ngorongoro crater. This is the ‘ Eighth wonder of the world’. It reveals the worlds largest unflooded and unbroken caldera.
-On the second day we descend into the crater and spend the morning hours tracking animals.
-This natural amphitheatre has the  has the largest concentration of animals in all Africa. There are Lions and thousands of Flamingoes.


 

  
DAY 9-DAY 10.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
 

We go to the renowned Olduvai Gorge where Leakey uncovered the Fossil of Homo habillis (the handy man), the first tool user who lived over 1.75 million years ago.
-We then drive to Serengeti, where we have the most diverse migration corridor in the world.
-There are all kinds of creatures- the elephants, the gireffes, the warthog,the antelopes, the wildebeest, the rhinos.
-We overnight at a deluxe Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

DAY 11-DAY 12-MAASAI MARA

-We fly to Mt. Kenya Safari Club. Its an Historic club which offers Golf, trout streams, horseback riding and tennis and animal orphanage.

-We explore game reserves like Ol Pajeta where we have  a good  Rhino population and a Sanctuary for orphaned chimpanzees.

DAY 15-NAIROBI DEPARTURE.

-We fly to Nairobi to our Hotel room.

-We can choose to relax before we depart tonight.

-We say goodbye to Africa but remember ‘You may leave Africa but Africa will never leave you.

DAY 16-EUROPE- UNITED STATES.

We pass in Europe on our way home
